The Circles each hold symbolic creatures and plants: the chickadee is in the circle representing Massachusetts, the Dog (Sadie) is in a circle representing Vermont. The homestead is in the lower circle, and symbols for Yoga, Buddha, Judaism, Québec, the feminine and masculine are throughout.
