Meet Chazal !

He is 1/2 Arabian and 1/2 Quarter Horse, 15.1½ hands

 (Family joke: is he 1/8 of a horse if he's half a quarter horse?)

This photo is of Chazal at his old home in Mascouche. This is when he was newly arrived in St Lazare after I bought him. Now he is a little chubbier.

June 2007 you can see Chazal's speckles coming in on his face, that give his colour the moniker flea-bitten grey.

 

Chazal and I are both getting lighter hair and putting  on weight.   December 31st 2006

June 2007, at Six years old, Chazal has filled out nicely.
